Pattaya police was called out on the evening of Monday, 29th June to a pub on Naklua Road in North Pattaya where a report had come in that a tour guide had been beaten up by 10 Chinese men. Police investigated the premises to find evidence that a fight had occurred, with broken bottles and blood stains on the floor. The Sawang Boriboon Rescue Team was attending to 22 year old Mr. Shadree from Chiang Rai who was given first aid for bruises to his face and body. He stated the fight broke out after his younger brother accidentally bumped into a Chinese man outside the toilet. When both he and his brother were leaving with his tour guide friends, a gang of 10 men approached and attacked them. He believes the gang were posing as illegal Chinese tour guides and wished to cause trouble for him and his friends who he claimed are legal tour guides. The investigation continues to trace the gang which is believed to come from Macao.
