ANGKOK:-- The condition of King Bhumibol Adulyadej of Thailand has "overall not yet stabilised", according to a statement released on Wednesday evening by the Royal Household Bureau.
The statement said the King's blood pressure had dropped, his pulse had quickened and his liver was not functioning properly.
The statement added that blood tests showed sign of an infection and that the King remains on a ventilator and is receiving RRT (continuous renal replacement therapy) treatment.
On Wednesday, hundreds of well wishers gathered outside Bangkok's Siriraj hospital to pray for the King.
