Phuket police are investigating the death of a 28 year old ladyboy yesterday. The farang who took her for sex claims she jumped from the balcony of his hotel after going through his possessions.



But family and friends say there is no way she would have killed herself. She didn't need money and was not stressed out.



They are demanding a transparent police investigation claiming that it was murder.



Lt-Col Jessada Saengsuree deputy chief of police went to find 28 year old Apinyo Kaewkhao dead after falling from the seventh floor. She had a broken neck and facial injuries, reported Daily News.



The body was taken to Patong Hospital for autopsy.



Ramasan A. from Turkey said that he had been out with a compatriot friend to the bars in Soi Bangla, Patong. He took a ladyboy to his room and the friend took a woman. They had separate rooms.



He told police that while he was taking a shower he heard the sound of the victim rifling through his possessions and getting his key card. He confronted her and she tried to get away via the balcony, he claimed.



After stopping her he said that Apinyo then went to the friend's room and knocked and spoke to the woman there.



After walking to and fro in the friend's room she headed to the balcony, he said. Her final act was to take the hand of the woman and say: "I'm going now". (In Thai: พี่ไปก่อน Phee pai gorn)



Then she allegedly jumped.



Apinyo's mother Amphan, 62, and father Thawee, 64, dismissed this as nonsense saying they believe their son was murdered.



She had called earlier at 9.30 pm and there was no sign of any problem. She had transferred 3,000 baht to her mother. They described her as the main bread-winner of the family who had no money problems and was loved by all.



They called for a full investigation.



Daily News also spoke to a 28 year old ladyboy friend of the victim who they called Mr A.



She echoed the parents' assessment of the case saying that Apinyo loved herself and was scared of heights. She had no need to steal from a tourist.



And if she did she wouldn't have jumped from the seventh floor.



Mr A said that the victim did not know the woman in the other room and there is no way she would have taken her hand then said that she was going to end it all.

Expectations are that tourism in Phuket will see a 20% decline in 2020. Without government help it could be worse still.



In thirty years of Phuket tourism the island had faced many challenges, they said. And pulled through.



But this was the worst. Experts said that the root cause was the strong baht that showed no signs of weakening any time soon.

    Arrivé 4h du matin la tête dans le luc , pour patienter je part me balader Loi Kroh Rd . Des ladyBoys m'abordent pour une partie à trois , d'autres pour un boumboum que je décline .

     Ille est mignonne et une petite pipe n'a jamais tué qui que ce soit , bonne entré en matière pour mon 4eme voyages . Il est 6h du mat , le jour commence à se lever . On s'installe dans le recoin d'un bar face à la route , légèrement caché par la table en simili marbre . Ille me tripote puis avale la bête . Ille me pompe avec délicatesse , se relève au moindre bruit de voiture ou scoot . C'est agaçant mais pour ma première mise en bouche c'est fun . French people arrested over alleged kidnap

Chalong Police and Kamala Police have arrested seven French people over the alleged kidnapping and physical abuse of a 21-year-old female compatriot.
Those arrested were Idriss Sulliman, 25, Yann Kimulina, 25, Brahim Saifdine, 21, Mouhcin Wizkrane, 23, Yacine Maatoug, 32, Lydia Kouang Nlend, 21, and Sahra Zerari, 19.
On March 4 at 5am, the seven people allegedly forced the victim to leave an entertainment venue in Soi Bangla, Patong, and took her by motorcycle to Soi Yod Sanae in Chalong.
They physically attacked her and accused her of stealing 5,000 euros (Bt195,000) from them. The group then allegedly sent a video of her being kidnapped to her family in France, asking them to pay 5,000 euros or she would be killed. The family was very frightened and transferred the money to the kidnappers, police said. She was freed at noon of the same day. Her family contacted the French Embassy in Thailand and embassy representatives invited her to discuss the case and press charges at the Chalong Police Station. “After receiving the report, Chalong Police, Kamala Police, Tourist Police and Forensic Police went to collect evidence at the scene. Bien qu’habitant en Thaïlande depuis quelques années maintenant, j’ai visité beaucoup de lieux dans ce pays mais étrangement je ne suis toujours pas allé à Phuket.
Féo, toutes mes confuses car je me souviens bien avoir sollicité tes conseils pour des logements là-bas, où tu as répondu très gentiment en me donnant de très bonnes adresses que je garde précieusement, mais que je n’ai donc toujours pas utilisées faute de temps/circonstances/... ca viendra, mais tes recommandations seront peut-être, si ce n’est déjà, outdated... Mais ce sera ma faute... Merci quand même une nouvelle fois!

J’ai entendu dire qu’il sévissait une terrible mafia des tuk-tuk et taxis pour les trajets aéroport-ville.
Pas de meter, mais c’est le cas aussi dans beaucoup d’îles. Mais surtout un tarif exorbitant de 700 bahts ou quelque chose comme ca pour rejoindre la ville depuis l’aéroport. Thai ou farangs, tous sont logés à la même enseigne à priori, ce qui est malgré tout un bon point...
Il semblerait même que le gouvernement a même essayé de mettre en place une ligne de bus entre les 2 points, qui a finalement été bloquée par les chauffeurs de taxis et tuk-tuk à coup d’intimidation et même d’agression envers les chauffeurs de bus.
Quand est-il aujourd’hui?
Quel est le meilleur moyen de rejoindre le centre de la ville depuis l’aéroport? Si possible sans se faire prendre pour un dindon...]]>
